Everything about this house is outstanding.
The Great Escape is perfectly located across from the Gulf of Mexico. Guests can enjoy beautiful views of the water from the front deck or go up even higher to the 'crow’s nest' where you have views all the way to Destin!
This home is ideal because the beach is only a short walk with the public access less than 100 feet away.
If the surf is too rough or you just need a break from the sand - you can swim in the home's beautiful private pool. The pool area is furnished with comfortable patio loungers and chairs. All of this completes the feeling of having your own private oasis in the back yard!
Another great location feature - the home backs up to the great Cowly Park. Right out the back-door guests will find a track with a grassy field in the middle, playground equipment for little ones, tennis courts, basketball court/roller hockey court. This house has something for everyone!
This stunning one level beach home was designed and built for large vacation groups. It has six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms. Each bedroom is beautifully furnished and has an attached private bathroom and a large 40-inch flat screen tv. The main room of the home is an 'open concept' with the living,kitchen, and dining all in one large space. The living area is divided into two spaces. One space surrounds the 60-inch flat screen and the other space is set up for reading or playing board games.
The kitchen has a tremendous island that has seating for 10/12 and the large dining room table will also offer enough seating for 15. Everyone can be comfortably seated together for meal time or you can slip out to the deck to dine in the gulf breezes!
For an additional fee the elevator in the home can be used during your stay but must be monitored by adults.
This amazing house (sleeps 22) is perfect for family reunions, weddings, or large groups of friends!
The area below the house can be used for covered parking or as an 'over flow' space. It provides plenty of room for large events or just an additional place to be in the shade.
** All events (weddings, reunions, parties, etc) must be authorized through Gulf Coast Getaways and the Island Authority.

Any event type of reservation will have an additional fee on top of the rental rate and must be thoroughly discussed before any booking will be accepted.

Very curious and competent, when they said they would take care of something they did it promptly with good results. TV and pool both had issues which were resolved promptly,

it is expensive but worth it on a quality basis. Not much to gripe about. Our family told me we had the best place in the 30 plus year of our annul family vacations at Myrtle Beach and Gulf Shores. We took a chance and were delighted with the outcome.

Overall our entire family of 22 thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back in two years to the same house hopefully. The pool and beach access was great, the kitchen and living area was awesome. Everything was wonderful and would definitely recommend this home to a large party of people!!!!
