The Salt House

Our first Air b&b ever, it was amazing and even more amazing than I expected! Easy instructions, easy to find the house, easy to get in and they let us check in a bit early! Gulf Breeze was always available and super communicative! The house was beautiful inside and out we didn't want to leave! House had everything we could possibly need, fully stocked kitchen, all beach necessities, beach towels, bikes for the whole fam, floaties, wagon, even kanoos! All we needed to bring was clothes and food! We used the grill super easy to set up, we ate dinner on the porch and watched the sunset, rode bikes around and walked to the beach everyday! Will cherish our memories at Pennsacola beach forever! Thank you!

OMG! I read reviews previous to booking but had the "believe it when I see it" attitude. This was the most amazing rental we've ever stayed in. Magazine-worthy! Cozy but spacious! "Beachy" but modern! Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Master bedroom: simply awesome. "Bunk room": beautiful. Guest room: perfect. One review mentioned to bring only your swimsuits and snacks - so true!! The kitchen was equipped with everything you'd want or need, from Yeti cups to expensive insulated coolers. We loved everything about the beach house - then we saw the garage which was unlike anything we've seen. It was more like a rental place! Canopies, tents, bikes, paddleboards, surf boards, skim boards, huge floats, tubes. Beach umbrellas and chairs - volleyball and pickleball things, and more - great cart to put things in for the beach. Short walk to the beach. The rooftop deck and sunsets - Amazing! The owner obviously is a very considerate and thoughtful person! BOOK THIS PLACE!

Greg’s house was perfect for our trip to Pensacola! The house is only about a block from the beach and walking distance to a few cute coffee shops. The check in details mentioned the house not having some essentials and beach equipment but we were pleasantly surprised to find beach towels, beach toys for our baby, shampoo, conditioner and other essentials at the house! Will definitely book here again.

The house was perfect for our family of six and could easily fit two more. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach. They had everything you could possibly need for a day at the beach: towels, wagon, umbrella, chairs, cooler, sand toys, bikes/helmets, tents and more! The house was nicely decorated and the neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen had lots of appliances and things to cook with and everything you needed to clean up. Grocery stores and places to eat are close by. I would highly recommend staying at this home!

Our family Labor Day vacation was awesome! The location of the house is great, with easy access to the beach. We were excited to use the beach umbrellas, coolers, beach chairs, bikes, and water toys. Inside amenities were also wonderful, including comfortable beds, towels, and linens.

This place was such a dream! The amenities were so thoughtfully planned and my family of 8 could not have enjoyed the stay any more. The upper deck was the perfect place to view fireworks and drink morning coffee. The homes proximity to the beach path was super convenient and we took full advantage of the garage packed with all of the beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and wagons that you could need! Just pack your clothes and a few snacks and GO! I will be a repeat customer!

Greg’s place was perfect! Great location with an extremely short, easy walk to the beautiful Pensacola beach. We have never seen a rental so well stocked with essentials and high quality ones at that! Anything you can imagine wanting or needing was at your fingertips - it was unreal! We fell in love with the house and neighborhood and felt right at home. I would highly recommend this rental for future beach trips.

This was the best house for my event/vacation. We had everything we needed when we arrived. It was easy to find and close to the beach. Nice and quiet neighborhood. The house was perfect. My family and I had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

The home has everything you need for you beach vacation. Very clean, kitchen was stocked, plenty of towels, and if you needed something for the beach, they have it. Definitely plan on staying here again! Highly recommend.

We’ve rented vacation homes in the past and this was by far our best experience. I read the reviews prior but didn’t want to get my hopes up as sometimes what you read online is deceiving. That was not the case. The house was extremely clean and fully equipped - everything was thought of down to coolers for the beach. Our family had an amazing time and we will definitely be going back to either the Salt House or another rental by Gulf Coast Getaways!

The house was very clean and well stocked. The kitchen had every appliance and accessory you should need. It was in a great location. Comfy beds and nice linens. It was the perfect size for our family of 5 which includes a 16,13 and 9 year old. Communication from the management company prior to check in and after check out was great! We would recommend this house to family and friends.

The SALT HOUSE delivers in every way imaginable...from outdoor shower to rinse off the beach sand, to cruiser bikes, beach wagon, yeti coolers, boogey boards, umbrellas, beach toys, and whatever else your heart might desire for your families beach getaway -- this property delivers. You could quite literally just bring your swimsuit and still have everything you need for an incredible time at the beach :-) Thanks for the wonderful Spring Break trip from the Pifers -- we look forward to staying at the Salt House again next year!

Honestly, I think this was one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. The owner's provided us a beautifully decorated home with top grade appliances and amenities. Beach chairs, new umbrellas, new bicycles, boogie boards, a wagon to haul all your stuff to the nearby beach, which was only a short block away. The neighborhood was quiet and but close to the main road on the island which gave you easy access to all the restaurants and attractions. I just can't say enough good things about this rental. If I had any complaint, it would be the sand spurs our pups would pick up when we took them for a walk. They are everywhere. This is not something that the owner's or Gulf Coast Getaways can control but something you have to look out for if you bring your pets.

We had an awesome stay! The house was super clean and very nice. We really have zero complaints. The items provided (umbrellas, chairs, wagon, bikes) made is super convenient and easy to have what we needed already there for us. The walk to the beach is short and simple. The grill on the ground level was an answered prayer because we love getting fresh catch from Joe Patti and grilling for dinner while we are at the beach. The management company was super responsive and friendly. We had a SMALL issue with the dishwasher leaking water, and the maintenance guy showed up in less than 10 minutes. He was also very professional and friendly and had things corrected within just a few minutes. We had 6 people in the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!!!!

We had an amazing vacation at the Salt House! It had just been remodeled before we got there and the owners didn’t skimp on details or quality. Very close walk to the beach with our 4 kids, 7 and younger. Tons of recreational accessories for the beach, including toys, balls, floaties, boogie boards, and bikes! Plenty of extra bedding and towels and the kitchen was perfectly equipped! I totally recommend this house for families!

First, the amenities on the listing do NOT do this rental justice! You can tell the owners took time and pride in setting up this property to be a home away from home! From an extremely well stocked kitchen, to thinking of creature comforts in the bathrooms! The outdoor/ beach equipment was perfect as well (loved the cruisers - which were a total surprise)! The decor, organization, and extra supplies make it easy on families that come to visit for more than just a couple of days - no need to pack and drag more than your kids and food! Second, this is the BEST spot for watching the Fourth of July fireworks AND the Blues fly!! They literally buzzed the house all week!! And the views from the top deck are fantastic! Oh, and you can’t beat the short stroll to the beach - No need to leave anyone behind, everyone can make that small walk! Thank you for a great vacation! I think we are done with condos from here on out! Definitely, will be back to visit Salt House!
